Nori

I’ve been learning with Nori for more than a year now. She always comes prepared with the materials to meet my needs and goals in learning Japanese. They are thought provoking, just enough challenging and most of all fun! Nori is always there to help me whenever I’m having a hard time in understanding the materials and never loses patience, which motivates and encourages me to speak more!

I always enjoy my lessons with Nori sensei! -She asks good questions that keep the conversation flowing and gives me a chance to try speaking about different but relevant topics. I never feel like I have to force myself to find something to talk about. -I get good feedback on my speaking and explanations on correct usage are always clear and understandable. -I've been able to build my confidence with using Japanese and feeling like I'm understood. -Her follow up feedback lets me review words that I may have struggled with during the lesson.

今日ののりさんとのクラスは本当に面白かったです！まあ、やばくなかった？（笑）でも本当に楽しかったです。 いろいろなトピックを探って、「ヤバい」っていうスラングを練習したり、日本のお米の状況について話し合ったりして、たくさん学べました。 のりさん、今日もありがとうございました！またね！！

Nori is a wonderful teacher who has a great ability to make you feel at ease. She is so encouraging and her notes make perfect sense. I encourage anyone to take her lesson as you will enjoy it and find it extremely beneficial. My weekly chat with Nori is a highlight. Thank you Nori.
