Hello my name is teacher Shannon, and I'm a native English speaker from South Africa. I graduated from secondary school and started working in a contact center as a supervisor for the last 6 years during this time I have done courses through Compuscan. The call center environment taught me communication skills, patience and time management. I am a qualified online English teacher with a certified TEFL certificate and I have 2 years of private online torturing experience with different age groups.Me as a Teacher
My teaching style is patient and caring/ focusing pronunciation and providing good guidance. I believe every person learns differently, so my methods are not the same for everyone. My main focus are pronunciation, vocabulary, basics of English and conversational. For younger students and beginners I love using my props and puppets keeping the students entertained while learning. I always implement TPR in all my lesson to insure my students understand.My lessons & teaching style
My teaching style can best be described as interactive, supportive, and transparent. I encourage my students to have a voice in the classroom, ask questions when they come up, and participate actively in all conversations regardless of their level of confidence. I have the ability to engage students, identifying strengths and weakness and scaffold concepts with props, whites board and flash cards.My teaching material
