Hello, my name is Tanja and I am an English teacher from Serbia. I am really passionate about languages, travelling, food and music :) I enjoy spending my free time with my family and friends the most, but I also enjoy being on my own. I love reading, especially mystery novels, watching movies and TV shows. However, I cannot wait to be able to travel freely again because I really love sightseeing, meeting new people and learning about different cultures! I am hoping that we can share our experiences in our classes and that you can teach me somehing about your culture as well :)Me as a Teacher
I am a certified English teacher and I have a degree in English language and literature, as well as a TEFL and a TESOL certificate. I have been teaching for more than seven years and I hope that my experience can help you learn in the easiest possible way without feeling insecure and shy. I have been teaching people from all around the world and I feel extremely lucky because I have learned so much about different cultures and different languages from my students. I am very grateful to have an opportunity to speak to people who live on the other side of the world and to teach them about my country, my language, but also to help them master English. In my classes I always try to make my students feel comfortable and free to speak up, even though they may not be completely fluent. The best way to practice and perfect your skills is to talk! I am really talkative and friendly so I think that will be very helpful :) I will help you express your thoughts and politelty correct your mistakes if there are any. Remember, practice makes perfect! Moreover, you can choose what you want us to do in our classes. You may choose to focus on your speaking skill only, but you may also choose to work on your grammar, writing, and listening skill. I'm learning Serbian with Tanja. She speaks very clearly and with a moderate speed. Also she understands where I have trouble pretty quickly and is able to come up with good explanations. I believe I can really benefit a lot from her lessons.

It was great to meet Tanja today - our first lesson was excellent. She had a really good feel for what I needed, and I immediately felt as though she'd already been teaching me for years. Her English is flawless, so she had no trouble explaining herself when we weren't speaking in Serbian. I'm really excited about studying with her.
