My name is Aya from Tokyo in Japan, but I have lived in London for a long time and previously lived in Spain for a few years before I came to London. That’s why I really understand how hard it is to learn other languages. I was also a professional singer in Japan releasing 5 major singles. I am still singing and releasing my original music. I am teaching Japanese privately twice a week. I’m not a professional teacher but I provide them real Japanese and Japanese culture as well. I really enjoy talking to people who is interested in Japan. I focus mainly on conversational Japanese which is more natural and fluent. I really liked talking with Aya-sensei ! I was very nervous as it was my first ever lesson on Italki but she made it very easy to talk, even when I have trouble finding words or finding the right way to word a sentence ! The 30 min flew by and I can't wait to take more lessons !

Just had a great first lesson with Ayako-san! She was extremely kind, patient and easy to talk to. It's always a little nervous speaking with someone new in a language you're not very skilled at but Ayoko-san immediately put me at ease. She was very easy to understand and the time flew by!
