My name is Pius Ntinya, i'm a professional teacher from Tanzania. I have been a teacher for more than fifteen years in schools teaching English, Swahili and French in primary, secondary and high schools. I also have three years experience in online teaching. I can speak Swahili, English and French. I have worked as Education Coordinator in Burundian refugee camp called Nyarugusu found in Kigoma region in Tanzania. I'm a professional translator & interpreter. i'm trained on Early Childhood Care & Development(ECCD). i'm also an author of academic & language e-books especially that of Swahili. I'm also an environmental expert as a have a Master of Science in Climate Change.Me as a Teacher
I'm experienced tutor, i have taught in schools for more than fifteen years and online for three years. I'am also highly skilled in language teaching approaches, techniques, strategies and methods. I have also undergone a special course for teaching non native speakers of Swahili language. I know how to encourage and motivate learners. I teach all kinds of learners from beginners, intermediate and advanced level. I also teach Swahili for those who want to learn for traveling or vacation. I always ask learners to explain what outcome they would need to attain, so I use simple notes, audios, short stories, simple grammar, audio visuals, you tube etc. I help learners practice speaking the targeted language. I categorize my teaching into grammar, vocabulary, language use & conversation.My teaching material

Had a great lesson with Mwalimu Pius today. We started off discussing centralized versus decentralized organizations. Then, spent the rest of the time discussing education systems in the US and Tanzania and debating pros and cons. It was a great and interesting session.

Had a very interesting discussion with Mwalimu Pius. We talked about cultural differences between America, Tanzania and Japan. We also discussed immigration issues, a regrettable event that happened at my village and climate change. Lots of things were discussed. I learned at least 20 new words today and Mwalimu Pius helped me to clearly understand those words. We came up with a plan for the next lesson. Looking forward to it!

Had a great wide-ranging lesson with Mwalimu Pius today. We hit on many topics from around the world. We also discussed some common Swahili expressions including real-world examples of their usage from personal experience. Learned many things today. Asante Mwalimu!

Had a great lesson with Mwalimu Pius! We discussed the weather, then I narrated another story from my time in Tanzania. We then discussed the sport of boxing and planned for the next lesson. We shared some useful expressions in both Swahili and English. He helped a lot when I struggled to come up with the right words.
