I now had over 10 lessons with Nadja, so I can write about my experience. I like learning German with her and I can already see progress. Our lessons are lightly structured: she prepares material ahead and we choose what we address on that day. The homework is perfectly dosed and we review it at the beginning of the next lesson, after a short ice-breaking chat. That works well for me as I do the more formal learning on my own. I use my time with Nadja to speak, listen, ask questions and challenge myself. I am sure she can also bring a more conventional learning path if necessary. Nadja is very patient and knowledgeable. She can explain complex rules in a simple way. No matter how bad I can be, she makes me feel comfortable. She is always interested in the topics we discuss and fuels conversation is a very pleasant way. The safe space she creates combined with genuine interest in the conversation gives me the confidence necessary to get out of my comfort zone and really learn.

Nadja is an incredibly patient, kind, and accepting teacher. She puts genuine effort into tailoring each lesson to my interests and goals, and when I’m unsure of what I want to focus on, she seamlessly guides me through her own curriculum, making the fundamentals fun and easy to grasp. As I prepare for an upcoming trip to Germany, Nadja has gone above and beyond by sharing travel tips, thoughtful recommendations, and even doing extra research to help me get the most out of my visit and immerse myself in the culture. Above all, Nadja is compassionate, supportive, and truly dedicated to helping her students succeed. I feel lucky to be learning with her — I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a wonderful German tutor!

Ich nehme seit 16 Monaten jede Woche Privatunterricht bei Nadja. Von Anfang an sind die Stunden sehr angenehm verlaufen. Ich finde sie kompetent, sie besitzt ein umfangreiches und sehr praxisnahes Sprachwissen – eine echte Profi! Dabei spüre ich wirklich, wie sie mich ermutigt, zu sprechen, zu lernen und mich weiterzuentwickeln. Die Themen sind auf meinen Alltag und meine weiteren Entwicklungsbedürfnisse ausgerichtet. Das hilft wirklich sehr, meine Freunde und Nachbarn sind jedes Mal überrascht wie schnell ich Fortschritte mache – dank Italkie und vor allem dank Nadjas echt guten Unterrichts.
