My name is Nadja and I'm from the Southwest of Germany. I have a Bachelor's degree in German Studies and philosophy and a Master's Degree in German Literature. Languages have been my biggest passion alongside literature since early adolescence and during my time at university I learned Spanish, French, Italian, Swedish and Russian. I also really love nature, most of all the ocean and flatland with lots of flower fields and hills and I go for walks on a daily basis. I try to practice mindfulness in my everyday life as much as possible, prioritizing my mental health and taking things step by step.

My number one priority when it comes to teaching a language is not only efficiency but also sustainability. I believe that what makes the process sustainable apart from setting realistic goals and having a thought-out strategy, is having a personal connection to the language on a deeper level. I want my students to feel like the language has really made their life richer and better. Languages have the ability to unlock parts of our personality and identity we didn't know before and they can offer us a home in many places in the world. A language is a whole universe: Culture, art, literature, music, people. I make an effort to make learning fun, educational and personal.My lessons & teaching style
I have been teaching German for a few years now, first I worked for a language school in Switzerland and now I am teaching independently which has given me the skills to create my very own unique teaching materials based on my experiences as an avid language student myself. I combined all of the methods that worked for me and can adjust well to the individual needs of my students based on their personality, interests and learner type. I can teach German in both English and Spanish but can also offer lessons purely in German if my student wants to be emersed in the language completely early on (or if they're already advanced).My teaching material

Training Intercultural - Eberhard-Karls Universität Tübingen - 2018I attended a C1-Level Spanish class that focused on teaching intercultural skills which are of course crucial to have for a teacher who is going to be talking to people from all around the world. I have always made a conscious effort to educate myself and be aware of how cultural differences affect learning and communication.

Language Partner | SprachpartnerI worked with students via video call, going over their lessons and materials with them, focusing on practising grammar, vocabulary and giving them the chance to speak about all sorts of different subjects with a native speaker.

Independent TeacherI have started teaching independently, focusing on teaching German in Spanish as there is a shortage of native speakers teaching the language and because I have a lot of personal connections to Latin America. I created my own website with teaching materials that were all created by myself while also focusing on providing information about Germany and the culture.

Ich kann meine Deutschlehrerin, Nadja, nur wärmstens empfehlen! Ihr Unterricht ist nicht nur äußerst lehrreich, sondern auch unglaublich unterhaltsam. Sie gestaltet jede Stunde mit viel Engagement und Kreativität, sodass das Lernen Spaß macht und die Zeit wie im Flug vergeht.
Besonders beeindruckend ist ihre Fähigkeit, komplexe Themen verständlich zu erklären und den Unterricht an mein Sprachniveau und meine Interessen anzupassen. Sie ist stets geduldig, motivierend und ermutigt mich, mein Bestes zu geben. Durch ihre klaren Erklärungen und hilfreichen Korrekturen habe ich mein Deutsch in kürzester Zeit deutlich verbessert.
Darüber hinaus sorgt ihre freundliche und positive Art dafür, dass ich mich im Unterricht wohl und selbstbewusst fühle. Sie geht auf meine Fragen ein und bietet wertvolle Tipps, um meinen Wortschatz und meine Grammatikkenntnisse zu erweitern.
