Mana

Mana has been an incredible Japanese teacher this Summer! She’s really helped me recap on grammar as well as providing interesting conversation and great tips for my upcoming travels in Japan. It has been such a pleasure to be taught by her.

Mana-sensei has everything you want in an Japanese teacher. She's really good at defining Japanese words, in Japanese, without stitching to English. She always understands my struggling sentences and offers the more natural way of saying the same thing. Most of all she is very pleasant, and always fun to talk to. Definitely one of my favorite teachers. Period.

Mana is such a great teacher, polite and positive, she is also very knowledgable. Mana is really kind and I always feel at ease talking to her. Even if I am nervous about speaking Japanese at first, I feel like I can loosen up and talk freely in her lesson. She is also very effective at teaching me lots of new words. Her interest and knowledge of the Japanese language and culture is considerable. She is someone who truly enjoys languages, writing, researching and learning. Mana edited a text I had written in Japanese, and her feedback was incredibly thoughtful and thorough. I highly recommend her to others, both for beginners and for intermediate students looking to get a deeper understanding of Japanese.
