Living in Nairobi, Kenya

native swahili teacher with over 100hrs of teaching experience. I like to laugh while we learn. A Kenyan, with a great passion in language and music. I enjoy reading books and watching travelling vlogs . I love food and learning new cuisines from all over the world. I also love meeting new people and have quite a bubbly personality and very friendly nature. I also love travelling and poetry too. Respectful, tolerant and very flexible. I'm accommodative to all people and majorly focus on our learning material during class time. I have a fun approach to learning and encourage my students to participate in all in class activities without fear of judgement. Lessons will be conducted via zoom, Skype, WhatsApp and will include weekly assignments that the student can take at a time of their choosing. my teaching approach will be much more conversational with one on one discussions and debates with the student on different topics that may emerge . students should expect reading materials that will boost their experience according to the level of study.

Kimbarly is both pleasant and professional. She tailors her lessons to what we want to learn. She is teaching us more learning-related vocabulary words so we can speak less English and more Swahili during our study times.
