There is definitely progress, because today we spoke a lot more than we've done before. Miriam still have to talk slowly, but she does it with patience and encouragement. She is great at giving homework that benefits the learning and it is very motivating to go through it together. I am happy we are meeting up twice a week! Asante sana tena <3

Miriam is the best teacher! I see my progress and all the help she has giving me is paying off. I've been learning for 6 months and I enjoy every lesson with her, and I feel like I am ready to have some really easy conversations (very small ones though). I really love this language, and I hope I get to keep learning after my trip to Tanzania too. Asante!

Today we practiced directions, and I feel like a talked a lot more than earlier, which means there is progress. Miriam is dedicated and wonderful. She takes her time and is starting to speak more and more Swahili to me to practice understanding and listening. And I love that she is pushing me a little. Asante sana, Miriam :D
