I just finished my 50th lesson with Massimo and look forward to another 50 more in the coming months. Our lessons are mostly conversations that range widely from big topics on film, politics, Italian culture and the like to an exchange of personal interests and ideas with frequent detours to precise points of grammar, vocabulary, and syntax. Massimo handles it all with ease, grace, and humor. He is intelligent, inquisitive, has an obvious love for language and languages, speaks excellent, enviable English, and is unfailingly polite and courteous, a true gentleman and gentle spirit. All this makes for a pleasant, productive and stimulating setting for me to move the ball forward in each lesson toward my goal of fluency in Italian. Grazie mille, Massimo.

I have done over one hundred lessons with Massimo so I am quite knowledgeable on what it is like taking lessons with him. In short, lessons with Massimo have been one of the best investments I could have made into my Italian journey. He is a fun, engaging and patient teacher who understands what it is like to be in your shoes and is skilled in concisely explaining the finer points of Italian grammar and cultural. WOW! Massimo was such a fun person to talk to! Our first lesson was a casual conversation about learning styles and a variety of things in general to get to know each other better as student/teacher. It was absolutely lighthearted and stress-free…..I’ll be booking my next lesson soon. Thank you, Massimo!
