Hi there!
My name is Amy, and I’m a native Chinese speaker, born and raised in China and live in New York. I went to college in the U.S., where I had the opportunity to experience new cultures and perspectives.
My journey in teaching Chinese began in college, when I volunteered at a Chinese cultural study center. I’m passionate about sharing cultures and watching my students grow – it’s an incredibly rewarding experience! That’s why I’m here, excited to help you learn Chinese and explore its rich culture. 😃Me as a Teacher
I'm a patient and effective communicator. I started teaching Chinese in college and also volunteered with a Chinese culture study group during that time. I believe sharing cultures is a meaningful way for people to learn from each other. I truly enjoy watching my friends grow and improve from where they began—that’s what motivates me to be here. :) My lessons & teaching style

Amy is an awesome teacher. I found her very relatable. I believe she has a good understanding of western culture which she will be able to translate not only language but cultural differences that come with Mandarin within a modern setting. Alot of difficulties with learning a language is knowing the culture, she will bring comfort and understanding this aspect.
