About Me

Hi, I'm Yang. I grew up in China Beijing and went abroad at the age of 17. I've been living and studying in the Netherlands, the UK, the US and currently settled in Canada. Through my own life experiences, I see language study as a lifelong journey. It's not only about the language itself but more importantly, understanding a different culture and society. I speak Chinese Mandarin (native) , English (IELTS band 8) and Japanese (N1&N2 full scores in listening) . I'm able to teach Chinese and English in any of these languages. 我可以用中文（母语）、英文（雅思 8分）或日文（N1、N2听力满分）进行教学。日本語で教えることができます． My network is not stable for lessons at this time. I'll have time slots available once this is fixed. Thankyou

English: I have a moderate British accent since I did my undergraduate study in the UK. 我在英国读过书所以我的英文发音会稍偏向英音。 Chinese Mandarin: I speak very standard Mandarin without any regional accents. 我讲标准普通话，没有口音。 *Pronunciation and intonation will be focused *我注重发音和语调的练习纠正

① Daily conversation / 日常对话 Talk comfortably and confidently in daily life / 在日常生活中轻松自信地交谈 ② Pronunciation and intonation / 发音和语调 Practice clean and correct pronunciation and intonation / 练习清晰正确的发音语调 ③ Role play / 情景对话 Practice while role-playing in various situations (schools, cafes, airports, interviews, etc.) 通过角色扮演练习不同情景对话（学校，咖啡厅，机场，面试等等） ④ Business English / Chinese 商务英语商务汉语 I have an MBA degree, worked for 4 years in a Chinese domestic venture capital firm, and 3 years in an international financial corporation. Lessons on professional communication in various business contexts can be provided. 我拥有MBA学位，曾在一家中国本土风险投资公司工作4年，并在一家海外金融公司工作3年。可以教学如何用中文进行商务活动，例如：认识伙伴、介绍产品、应对社交场合等。

和老师一起学习了两个月，学习到太多和国内老师不同的想法，不光是分数从六分到七分，想法也比之前更多更符合外国人的思维，每次上课的时候通过和老师的对话，都能发现之前被国内教育限制的想法，只有打破它，才能够进步。
