I'm Sylvia from Taiwan. I had majored in physics when I was a graduate student. To meet new people on italki is one of my motivation. But the most happiness for me is to help improve your Chinese!
I didn't attend any class for teaching a language. I'm about to tell you sincerely, if you're looking for a tutor who can teach you by textbook, I'd say I'm not suitable for you. But if you'd like to improve language ability by chat or doing questions on textbook, then welcome! :D

I used to be a physics teaching assistant (TA) when I studied in university. At that moment, I helped and encouraged students doing the experiments well.My lessons & teaching style
I don't recommend taking 60 minutes in one day a week. I'd say 30 minutes split into two days a week it could be better.
Is there shortcut for learning a language? The shortcut is to be CONSECUTIVE and REGULAR to use it for a couple of "years". It might sounds crucial but practical. :)My teaching material
