I highly recommend Stan! He is a great language teacher. Every week, before our class, he sends me some good articles which are tailored for my level. In class, we talk about the articles together. He is very funny—learning with him is never boring. Also, he thinks deeply. When we talk about new things, he helps me see them in different ways. I not only learn spoken English, but also know about what is happening in reality.

I used to sample different teachers, but these days I just keep taking Stan's class (and only one other). What differentiates his class is the trending materials he brings. Materials usually consist of some interesting news articles and videos. Talking about them sometimes can be challenging, but it is better than generic, dull textbooks. They're especially great for extra vocabulary & reading practice. Plus, the class is flexible enough to chat about things outside of the materials 🙂

Talking with Stan is always fun. He guides the conversation well, gives me chances to speak, and controls things in a good direction. Sometimes when I don't catch what he says, he speaks slowly or writes it down for me—he's very kind.

Stan is a highly professional teacher. He has a great sense of humor that makes learning both enjoyable and memorable. I’ve learned a lot from him, not only about the language, but also through the fascinating stories he shares. Very good person, I learn a lot

Thanks to Stan, I feel more confident in my English. He always encourages me and cheers me on. I think he's a great teacher. It's also really helpful when he teaches me better expressions and sentences.
