Hi! :) I am Evgeniya, your guide to the world of the Russian language with a twinkle! As a teacher, I specialize in adult learners (18+), helping them to speak confidently through immersion in culture and lively dialogues. I am fluent in English myself, I studied French, and living in different countries has taught me to overcome the language barrier with humor and without stress. Now, from Moscow, I am sharing not only the rules, but also the "tricks" of the Russian mentality — from cinema to traditions. *SCHEDULE*: Choose any time — I will agree or suggest an option! See you in class. 😊 My excellent communication and listening skills help my students to achieve their learning goals. I'm a positive and energetic person with a sense of humor. I'm open-minded, patient and friendly. I'm a native speaker with a clear accent, I was born and raised in Russia. I'm your personal guide to the world of Russian culture and traditions. My passion for the Russian language inspires students to learn more. I love what I teach! P.S. I work only with adults (18+) 📌Lesson plan depends on the student’s needs, whether he wants to focus on grammar, pronunciation or vocabulary development. The individual learning pace has to be taken into account as well. 📌General Russian lessons are based on the modern textbook that guides for effective language teaching. I support individual learning needs and use relevant tutoring methods and materials. Lessons are fun with lots of videos, games and...

Yevgeniya is a fantastic teacher. She assigns great pre lesson assignments and then works hard the whole lesson. I worked hard for 90 minutes, and when it was done I didn’t want the lesson to end! She’s just wonderful.

Such a pleasure to do lessosn with Evgenia. This time we continued with a few Russian haiku and charged into Tatiana's letter to Onegin (Pushkin), I feel progress is geometric

Indeed it was another highly enjoyable lesson and I like how each lesson is different but still very inspiring. From the high literature of Pushkin and smart little haikus from all over Russia, to a peasant trying to impress his "Businessman" brother and a young wolf becoming vegetarian! Once again, the time just passed and caught me by surprise...With every single lesson I feel I have learned a little more of Russian language and culture, thanks to Evgenia's elegant guidance.

I feel our lessons are progressing into quite a sophisticated area. Today we went over the middle part of Pushkin's "Tatiana's letter to Eugene Onegin" and continued reviewing some Russian haikus. Although I am not yet totally easy with the language, (especially 19th century idiom) I feel that this is university-level stuff and it keeps me engaged, interested and looking forward to the next lesson.

Another extraordinary lesson with Yevgeniya, during which I taxed her patience with Russian haiku. But we also went through Easter customs, wishes and egg painting. I'm looking forward to the next one where we will look at Tatiana's letter to Evgeniy Onegin, standard reading for Russian schoolchildren.
