A certified ESL teacher with years of experience teaching kids and adults. Hello! My name is Jodee. ❤️ I am TESOL and TEFL certified and have been a private tutor for over 10 years. I also have more than 5 years of experience teaching English as a Second Language (ESL) to students from different countries, from young children to adults. As a patient, cheerful, and caring teacher, I create a comfortable and encouraging learning environment where students can build confidence and improve their English skills at their own pace. I enjoy helping learners achieve their goals, whether for school, work, travel, or everyday conversation. At the beginning of each lesson, I observe my student's level and adjust my speaking speed to ensure clear understanding. I tailor my teaching approach to each learner's needs and use a variety of techniques such as TPR (Total Physical Response), props, model answers, repetition, guided practice, and positive reinforcement. For younger learners, I also incorporate songs, nursery rhymes, games, and interactive activities to make learning fun and engaging.
