I’m Heather, and I’m from North Carolina, USA. I have a degree in History and a TEFL certificate, which I earned in 2021. I worked in the tourism industry as a travel agent; I hosted & worked with high school exchange students. I have a dog, a cat, and chickens, and live in a rural area. I love to travel and learn about new cultures. I also enjoy movies/series, reading, and the beach. My teaching style is communicative; I teach what students need or want to know. My lessons are created around the student. I use a mix of slides, documents, video/audio clips, and images to help learn. TEFL - i-to-i - 2021180-hour Level 5 TEFL course A 10-module course with specialization in designing engaging, effective lesson plans. Tests at the end of each module plus three written assignments. Passed three lesson plan assignments on teaching vocabulary, grammar and listening skills. Received personal feedback from a tutor, which stated the lesson plans were ‘dynamic and creative’.
