Hello, I am a bilingual (Japanese and English) and certified Japanese tutor. I got a qualification as a Japanese teacher from the experience of working in a foreign company for more than 10 years, and now I am teaching Japanese everyday. I started to learn English after I graduated the Univercity (when I was 28..), so I can understand how hard to naturally speak another language!
For my lesson, from basic to upper intermediate level are especially welcome! (JLPT target: N2 to N5) . Only conversation is also welcome! I can teach dependes on your level and needs. In my lesson, YOU CAN USE ENGLISH ANYTIME. My lessons & teaching style
Firstly, I will introduce basic rules of Japanese for you to roughly capture the whole image of Japanese grammar. If you understand these rules, you can easily start learning! Then we will use a texbook, and add new grammars, vocabularies and phrases. I will ask MANY questions before and during the lesson for you to deepen understanding. From N5 to N2 level of students are especially welcome. Those who want to enjoy conversation casually are also welcome! I often leave sentences on Chat box while we are talking, and ask MANY questions by finding out the points you need to improve!My teaching material

Mayumi-san is an excellent teacher, have taken more 20 lessons so far, will continue taking her classes. Her English is quite good with fluidity, explains the grammar and commonly used expressions clearly, overall I would rate her communication skill as top-notch. Gives encouragements, while also giving enough space to feel motivated.

I'd recommend taking a lesson with Mayumi Sensei to anyone! She has been a fantastic teacher since my first lesson with her! The first few lessons she evaluated my Japanese level and I've been improving ever since! I truly feel like I'm learning real Japanese versus just memorizing things out of a textbook.
