I have taught and tutored as an adjunct professor of English since 2014. I am eager to work with students who want to improve their writing skills. I also provide tutoring in grammar, reading comprehension, and speaking. I am fluent in Italian and can provide explanations for how grammar rules differ from English to Latin languages. My approach to teaching is to allow the student to take responsibility for their learning and determine their path based on their own goals. I also integrate a fair amount of technology into my teaching so that students can interact with learning material rather than passively receive it. My lessons & teaching style
If you work with me, you will choose your own learning path. If you want me to direct the learning path, there will be a heavy emphasis on grammar, starting with a diagnostic quiz so I can determine your strengths and weaknesses and go from there.My teaching material
