Lea

I've had about 12 classes with Lea, having started as a complete beginner and now able to stumble through basic sentences and make a little bit of sense in Spanish! I really like Lea's teaching style because she has a very instinctive approach. If something is unclear she can slow down and explain in English, or she can speed up and speak in Spanish if she feels it's good to challenge me a bit; she has a sense if something is too hard or too easy and will adjust exercises to match. I also like the way she records and edits class exercises through screenshots and sends them afterwards - it's very efficient. She also has nice timing as a teacher - she corrects mistakes in a way that doesn't break my flow of concentration or feel like an interruption. Many of these things you can't teach on a diploma course - some teachers just have good teaching instincts and Lea is one of them. I definitely recommend trying her classes!

Lea is an excellent teacher. She shows up to work with me, not just to chitter chat. I am so thankful for her patience and ability to explain in English and to continue in Spanish without skipping a beat. She is wonderful for all levels and ages!

I have been taking regular classes with Lea for approximately one and a half years now and she never fails to surprise me with her patience, flexibility and teaching ability! Every class is interesting and I always leave her classes with new knowledge and a happy face! Lea has been the perfect complement for me while I have been studying Spanish at school and I would have never have made it without her help. In other words, I highly recommend Lea as your teacher!
