Hi! I’m a native Mandarin speaker from China and currently living in Canada. I have a Bachelor’s degree from a teachers’ university and a Master’s degree in Business from the UK. Over the past 15+ years, I have worked in both education and business in Beijing, Shanghai, and Guangzhou, with more than 5 years of experience teaching Chinese as a foreign language.
My lessons are friendly, interactive, and personalized. I believe language learning should be practical, enjoyable, and connected to real life. Vivi H. is an extremely knowledgeable in all facets of culture, history, economics, and social issues. She is an excellent teacher who is not only quick to recognize which learning skills her student requires remedial help with, but Vivi is also super patient in assisting her student gain confidence in overcoming those learning difficulties. also has a great personality and thus knows how to make the difficult aspects of learning a language enjoyable,
