Sawaddee Kha! I'm Keng Malisa. I'm originally from Chiang Mai, the Northern part of Thailand. I'm a native Thai. I can speak Thai, northern Thai dialect and English. I'm a fun and creative person. I enjoy working on community service with the locals by sharing food with the homeless and teaching English to the orphans.Me as a Teacher
As I have experienced 7 years working as the program advisor for the American student of University Studies Abroad Consortium (USAC), Chiang Mai program. That was a great opportunity for me to teach Thai to the exchange student. Learn Thai with me is easy as I have techniques and fun ideas for students to practice Thai easily, I always listening, cheering and making sure my students use correct Thai in the right situation. Besides, I can speak the northern Thai dialect, the accent is fun and lovely. My students do like it a lot and when they try to speak it, that made them have more confidence to have a conversation with the locals. My lessons & teaching style
I believe the easiest of learning new languages is just to start by learning the things that interest you, then practice, practice, and practice with a native speaker! My class is very relaxing and practice speaking most of the time. The student will be able to choose the topics they want to know about "Thai". Then I will guide them on the vocabulary, history behind, culture, what makes Thai people smile, and the example of sentences that you may adapt to your practice in real-life situations.My teaching material

We've had conversations about every possible topic that you can imagine, which is one of my favourite things about our lessons. We always have a plan, but if she feels like there's something that I want to talk about more, she's always ready to go down that path with me :)

I have been studying Thai with kruu Malisa for almost a year now and I can confidently say that she has been one of the best educators that I have ever met. Every time you enter her classroom she greets you with a smile and than continues to teach you with her beautifully organized lesson plans. In this short time she has tough me to be able to read and speak Thai to a point that I wouldn’t have thought possible the previous year. I really cannot recommend her enough.

I couldn’t give enough positive reviews. The patience and kindness shown makes all the difference in a learning environment and I feel so lucky to have found such a wonderful teacher. I started from a complete beginners level knowing absolutely nothing but at no point have I been made to feel less or lacking knowledge, instead only encouragement and words of praise for my attempts. Kru Malisa has a way of making every lesson fun and educational at the same time.
