Before teaching, I usually speak and communicate with students first to know well about their targets and requests, then prepare the materials and make them tailor-made. In my trial class, I felt she recognized my Mandarin level very quickly and spoke at a pace and vocabulary level I could understand. She asked me what I wanted to talk about, and even though I gave her a topic I knew very little about, we still had a very productive lesson. Definitely recommend!
