Hi 👋 My name is Lindsey. I am 28 years old and from Connecticut, USA. I currently live in Padova, Italy where I am pursuing a Master's Degree. Previously I spent 4 years living and working as an English teacher in Prague, Czech Republic. When I'm not teaching, I like to cook, run, read, play tennis, travel and do yoga. I love to explore new places, learn about new cultures, and try new foods. I am a B2-level Italian speaker and spend my free time eating pasta and listening to Italian music. I am a TEFL-certified, experienced, English teacher. I have experience teaching English as a foreign language to both adults and children, 1-on-1 and in small groups. I have taught English to all types of students so I'm prepared to help you speak English like a native speaker. As a teacher, I am friendly, patient, and encouraging. My main goals are for my students to feel confident speaking English and to enjoy our lessons together. 😃 My lessons are tailored to each student, their interests, and their learning objectives. A typical English lesson with me involves conversation, grammar, reading activities, and listening comprehension. I want all of my students to be engaged during our lessons so we'll talk about your favorite TV shows, read articles related to your job, and do writing activities related to your hobbies.
