Hi, Iām Liz! Iām from the UK and languages have always been a big part of my life. I grew up in Spain, studied Applied Languages at Portsmouth University (including a year in Wuhan, China), and earned my TESOL certificate. I speak Spanish like a native, conversational Chinese (HSK4), and a little Bulgarian. Living in different countries has given me firsthand experience of what itās like to sound āforeignā in another languageāand how powerful it feels when your pronunciation finally clicks.

I specialize in pronunciation and accent training. My goal is simple: to help you sound less like a foreigner speaking English and more natural and native. Iāve worked with students from China, Korea, Russia, and across Europe, each with their own pronunciation challenges. I identify the most common errors for your native language and how they affect your English. By listening closely to the way you speak, I can pinpoint areas to adjust and explain exactly how to sound more British. Every language uses the speech muscles differently, so I help you train your mouth and produce English sounds like a native by understanding how each sound is made. My lessons & teaching style
My lessons are practical, hands-on, and focused on speaking clarity. Weāll work on the sounds that matter most for your accent, drilling them in a natural way through conversation and targeted exercises. This might mean practicing word endings, vowel length, stress patterns, or intonationāalways connected to real-life English, not just isolated drills.
I believe pronunciation is a skill you can train like a muscle: with the right techniques and consistent practice, anyone can improve. Iāll give you clear feedback, exercises tailored to your needs, and plenty of encouragement along the way.My teaching material

TESOL 12O hours - Trinity College London - 2015I carried out this qualification along side my degree. I completed 120 hours of teaching at Portsmouth community college, teaching adults who were non-native speakers of English and had recently moved to the UK. Classes were all conducted in person as well as at Portsmouth University where I taught the foreign exchange students from China.
