Hi, I’m Liz, a qualified British English teacher and pronunciation coach from the UK.
I specialise in British pronunciation and accent reduction, helping English learners sound clearer, more natural, and more confident when they speak. My main focus is pronunciation training, but I also offer conversation lessons for students who want to practise fluency while receiving correction and feedback.
I work with learners from Europe, Asia, and beyond, helping them identify the pronunciation patterns linked to their native language. In lessons, we focus on the sounds, rhythm, stress, intonation, and word endings that make the biggest difference to how natural your English sounds.
My lessons are practical and personalised. I do not just tell you that something sounds wrong — I show you exactly what to change, how to move your mouth, how to hear the difference, and how to practise until the sound becomes more automatic.
I have a degree in Applied Languages, a TESOL certificate, and years of experience teaching English online. I speak Spanish fluently, conversational Chinese, and some Bulgarian, so I understand what it feels like to learn a language and struggle with pronunciation myself.

TESOL 12O hours - Trinity College London - 2015I carried out this qualification along side my degree. I completed 120 hours of teaching at Portsmouth community college, teaching adults who were non-native speakers of English and had recently moved to the UK. Classes were all conducted in person as well as at Portsmouth University where I taught the foreign exchange students from China.
