Hi! My name is Cynthia, and Iām originally from Hamburg, Germany. I speak German, English, and Spanish fluently, and Iāve always had a passion for exploring the world. By the age of 22, I had already lived in five different countriesāSpain (Barcelona), England (Lancaster), Poland (Szczecin), and Mexico (Tijuana). Iām currently based in the beautiful city of CancĆŗn, Mexico.
Professionally, I also work as the Supervisor of the office of the to the Honorary Consul of Germany in CancĆŗn.
Iām also the proud author of the childrenās book Two Little Astronauts, One Big Adventure, available on Amazon in four languages.Me as a Teacher
Iām a passionate, open-minded teacher with over 10 years of experience. I speak English and Spanish at a fluent level and learned both from scratch, so I understand the challenges of language learning firsthand. My lessons focus on fluency, confidence, and vocabulary-building through engaging, personalized conversations. Iāve taught students of all ages, mostly adults who want to improve their speaking skills or prepare for exams. My goal is to create a relaxed environment where you feel supported and motivated to speak German naturally, comfortably, and with joy.My lessons & teaching style
I offer structured, dynamic lessons customized to each studentās goals. After our trial class, I create a personalized plan that targets your strengths and areas for improvement. Lessons may include speaking, listening, grammar, vocabulary and exam preparation to build practical, real-world language skills. Youāll speak most of the time, with my support and corrections. I provide clear materials, optional homework, and regular feedback to track progress.
