Hi everyone, I’m Mana! I was born and raised in Tokyo 🗼 and studied abroad in Irvine, California. I also briefly studied Fashion Business in Paris, and now am living in Melbourne, Australia 🇦🇺. Another fantastic lesson! I appreciate her ability to engage in authentic conversation - it never feels like Im “in class” but rather having a genuine chat .. this motivates me to learn Japanese because I actually want to engage in the material. Can’t recommend enough! :)

Great conversation-focused trial lesson. Mana was patient, clear, and very easy to talk with. She explained things well in English while also encouraging me to use Japanese during the lesson. The atmosphere was relaxed and supportive, which made it comfortable to try speaking without pressure. I’m looking forward to continuing conversation practice with her.

Wow - what a fantastic first lesson! She went at the perfect pace for me - she allowed me to repeat new sentence constructions so that I could get comfortable with them - It’s nice to have a skilled teacher who knows how to set a pace that promotes genuine learning. Highly recommended!
