Seosamh Mac Seoin

An excellent teacher that comes well prepared but also can be flexible depending on needs of the student. Very knowledgeable on the language and particularly strong on grammar. I have progressed so much and would highly reccommend.

I have been taking lessons with Seosamh on a weekly basis for the past 6 months. Without a doubt, I have grown so much in my language journey as a direct result of his instruction and direction. Seosamh does an excellent job of creating a curriculum that is specific to my own skills and interests. He does this by assigning not only translation work, but also sending; movies, tv shows, videos, music, articles, and general resources to provide real world application of skills being learned. The classes themselves are conversation driven. I am learning much more than just what words mean, but how to speak and have a conversation in the language. A pretty major part of language learning is being able to communicate, and Seosamh definitely makes that the priority it should be. Whether you are a pure beginner learning your 1st words, have tried Duolingo (been there), or need to brush up, I highly recommend booking lessons with Seosamh. Been taking lessons with Joseph for several months and I’ve made amazing progress. His lessons are always well thought out, interesting and at a level that encourages me to improve. If you put the work in and follow his instructions you’ll be well on your way to fluency.
