My name’s Elisa Matilde; I live in Tuscany, and I’ve attended a kind of grammar school where I used to study Latin and Ancient Greek🏺. These languages are not spoken anymore, but most European idioms come from them, so they help understand the process that leads to the birth of speech. I’m currently studying at the University of Pisa in the “Philosophy”📚 faculty, but I enjoy different things like art, music, literature, psychology, and coding! I like learning and discovering other languages, cultures, ideas, and more; that’s why I’m on Italki!😊Me as a Teacher
I have a passion for teaching, and I’ve always wanted to do it🍃, and I’ve conducted many classes in different situations. I like listening to suggestions and critiques, and I’m very patient. I take commitments seriously, but I want my students to have fun and feel good during class! I think it’s essential to create a comfortable situation to learn💡.My lessons & teaching style
My lessons differ according to students’ levels, interests, and needs🧐. Everyone has a personal way of understanding and acquiring new things, so it’s vital to match these aspects⚖️. We can converse about casual topics if someone wants to improve their language. If another student wants to know something more specific, we can work on texts about their interests and needs. As well, we can speak about anything!😄My teaching material
