Hello,
My name is Deon and I'm from the State of Texas in the U.S. I am an adventurous person who loves to travel the world and learn different languages and about different cultures. When I'm not teaching, I enjoy going to the beach, dancing, reading books, and spending time with my friends.Me as a Teacher
I am a native English speaker from the United States with a TEFL certification and over eight years of ESL teaching experience. I have taught in several different countries including Korea, Japan, and Saudi Arabia. My students range from beginner level to advanced. The majority of my experience has been teaching university level students and working adults, but I am open to teaching all age groups. My lessons & teaching style
First, I like to identify the areas that you are interested in so I can create a clear objective for our lesson. If you are a beginner level student, you learn through lots of repetition of pronunciation, grammar practice and structuring sentences. If you are intermediate to advanced, I like to pick a topic that is of interest to you so that we can have a discussion throughout our session. Towards the end of the session I like to go over some common mistakes and discuss things for you to work on for our next lesson.My teaching material
