Your Friendly Neighborhood Italian Tutor! Hi! I'm Mara, your Italian tutor on a mission: to turn learning into enjoyable, culture-rich conversations! Born and raised in Italy, I love exploring languages (I speak four) and sharing tips to master them without stress. I know learning can feel intimidating, but with me, it’ll feel like chatting with a friend: natural, fun, and super useful. Ready to get started? 😊 🗣 My class' focus is on conversation full of vocabulary terms for the student to learn. The topic will change every time: culture, food, literature, recipes, movies, travels... 🤹🏻 The students will describe pictures, do dictation activities and funny exercises, but mostly talk about their routine, their travels, and more. At the end of the class I always tell my students my thoughts about their Italian skills based on the conversation we had, and I give them some tips to improve progressively. ⭐️ This is a safe space: feel free to share your thoughts, make mistakes and make questions. Don’t stress too much and enjoy the process. PLEASE READ BEFORE BOOKING 📣 Unfortunately, I do not teach children and absolute beginners (A1). 🚨 IMPORTANT: If you’re unable to attend a lesson, please let me know in advance. If you book a class but don’t show up for any reason, kindly mark the lesson as complete and feel free to book another one. However, if you inform me ahead of time, I’ll be happy to reschedule the class for you. Thank you for your understanding!

Mara is a terrific resource for the not-so-easy grammatical rules that exist in Italian, and she is happy to explain them to me in an easy way whenever I have questions. She's patient and kind, and helps me to feel more at ease during our lessons. She understands the difficulties with language learning and is a very devoted teacher. Thank you, Mara!

Mara is a very kind, patient teacher. She makes sure to explain the grammar concepts we're covering thoroughly before moving on, and she's always happy to stop and explain things further if I don't understand. I really appreciate her method of teaching. Thank you, Mara...alla prossima!
