Hi, my name is Julia, and I am a language teacher. I am a native Russian speaker and proficient in English. I have degrees in pedagogy, finance, and a 150-hour TESOL certificate. My areas of expertise: English and Russian. I teach general language and language for specific purposes (LSP), including language for academic purposes (LAP). I also teach Business language and prepare for international exams (FCE, CAE, CPE, TOEFL, IELTS) and national exams (Russian national exam). The most prominent features of my lessons: modern communicative techniques for engaging students; individual approach for the lessons; modern technologies and authentic materials in my teaching. One of my main teaching purposes is to provide my students with motivation and enthusiasm for learning. I believe that it is in teachers' hands to make a learning process exciting, joyful, engaging, and beneficial for their students. Especially today, when we have so many tools (online and offline) for this. Besides, when learning a language, it is important to practice it a lot, and I prefer to make the tasks for the practice as close to real-world situations as possible.
