I’ve been teaching Mandarin online for over three years. My students come from the Americas, Europe, and Asia — both adults and children. To continuously improve my teaching skills, I completed professional teacher training programs and earned a TCSOL certification (Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages) in June 2025.My lessons & teaching style

Iris is very good at teaching through speaking Mandarin as much as possible, using multiple ways to say something to explain the words I am confused about until I understand, usually without needing to resort to saying it directly in English. Her English is excellent, so when I have a question about some subtlety she is able to immediately understand and explain in English. I am very impressed by the effort she puts into making customized study materials for each class. I highly recommend her as a Mandarin teacher!
