I am a certified translator and interpreter working with English, French, and Spanish.
I have a master’s degree in translation and interpreting studies, and a bachelor’s degree in medical science. I love working with languages, meeting people and learning about their culture. Learning English can be challenging, but with the right approach it can be a very pleasant and enjoyable undertaking.Me as a Teacher
I have 6 years of experience teaching English as a second language, and 2 years of experience teaching academic writing at Macquarie University. I am due to complete my accreditation with Sydney Higher Education Institute in March 2025 to be formally recognised as an ESL (English as a Second Language) teacher. I have the knowledge and material readily available to help with preparation for the IELTS examination and I am confident that I can assist you on your English learning journey.My lessons & teaching style
I have extensive experience teaching a variety of disciplines (sports, dance, science) and through my experience I’ve come to understand that every learner is unique and therefore requires material that responds to their specific learning needs. I take a very calm structured approach which aims at making learners feel comfortable and relaxed, thereby facilitating learning and increasing understanding and memory retention.My teaching material
