Hi there, my name's Marina and I'm a proffesional English teacher from the South of Russia. I studied Linguistics and Languages at university, later fell in love with teaching and have been dong it ever since!
I'm passionate about languages and sports, especially strength sports. Apart from that, I'm into books, TV-series and punk-rock music. I'm also a huge dog lover and like spending time outdoors enjoying the nature.Me as a Teacher
I work with all levels starting from A2 and offer some guidelines for teachers, but I don't teach children.
I teach general English and prepare for international exams (Cambridge exams (KET-CPE), IELTS (General/Academic), TOEFL). I'm also a former speaking examiner so I can help you with some strategies to get a higher score.
I try to keep abreast of new techniques and classroom strategies and try to implement them in my lessons. I always make sure what we do in a lesson is relevant and suitable for students' needs and interests.
As a learner myself, I know which areas might be difficult to understand and how to make them clear for my students.My lessons & teaching style
My lessons are well-organised and have a clear structure. No matter what your English level is and what aspect of the language we focus on (Reading, Listening, Grammar, Vocabulary) I always make sure we practice what we've learnt by speaking and applying the language. In the lessons you will be the one who speaks the most so that you get more practice and break any existing language barrier.

Marina is a great teacher to have lessons with! Some time ago she helped me get 8.0 (ielts) and now I'm here again to continue my studies and prepare for Cambridge exams. She's fun, aware of methodology, and all her explanations are clear.

Marina is an excellent teacher and I really enjoyed having classes with her. She was always professional and prepared, left reviews about the homework and helped me to understand my mistakes. Her explanations were clear and detailed, materials for the lesson contained various vocabulary and collocations, so I could use them in the exam. She was very helpful and organized, thus I definitely recommend her as a teacher.
