Hello everyone.
My name is Mikael and I'm a Swedish guy, born and raised in the western part of Sweden, near Gothenburg. I was living in Thailand in the early 2000s. I can speak fluent English, basic Thai and some German.
I'm interested in travelling and computers. My favorite sports are badminton and swimming.Me as a Teacher
I have been teaching English both in classrooms and online. I have a TEFL certificate. I have extensive knowledge of Thai students and common mistakes they make when studying English.
Now, when it comes to the Swedish language, I have some teaching experience from the past, teaching native speakers in Swedish schools.
Therefore I can teach both English and Swedish.
I am, if I may say so, an outgoing person and I have no problems in connecting with people.My lessons & teaching style
I believe that native speakers of for example English, teaching English, do not always realize how hard it can be for someone to learn a new language. So while teaching English to non-native speakers, I was always aware of how frustrating it sometimes can be.
Native speakers of any language don't always see this because of the obvious reason that they, themselves, never had to struggle learning their own language.
I can teach anything related to the Swedish (or English) language: grammar, sentence making, common mistakes students make and important differences between Swedish and English.
I am always patient and I will try to make the best lesson based on my students' previous knowledge.My teaching material
