Welcome!
My name is June and I'm a Community Teacher here in ITALKI. I am from the Philippines so that means I have a neutral English accent. I am also a University student taking up a Bachelor of Arts in English Language.
Professionally, I am a TESOL-certified ESL (English as a Second Language) tutor with four years of teaching experience online in which I've taught to all levels of students.
My interests include writing short stories, reading, watching movie series, painting, and journaling. I'm also interested to learn Japanese and French. 🌸🥐Me as a Teacher
As a teacher, I focus on teaching teenagers and adults. I am easygoing and calm to help you feel relaxed and enjoy your lessons. I also love motivating and encouraging you as my student to reach your language goals at your own pace.My lessons & teaching style
MY LESSON TYPES: (Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced)
1. CONVERSATIONAL- Where the students can practice English/Filipino by chatting about different topics, like food, cultures, movies, hobbies, and more. I will also give pronunciation corrections and useful expressions or phrases.
2. CUSTOMIZED LESSONS (Currently offered for English language only). This includes activities, basic grammar practice, pronunciation guides, and idioms. However, it may change depending on the goal of the student.
When it comes to my teaching style, I like to keep it simple, student-friendly, and manageable.
