Lesson three was amazing! 6 days ago I spoke 0 words of Azeri. I didn't know "hello", "goodbye" - absolutely nothing. In the third class we had a 15 minute conversation involving the present tense verbs (in the affirmative & negative) that I've learned so far. After Aslan introduced the past tense and some new vocabulary we ended the lesson with an ~15 minute back-and-forth in almost exclusively in Azeri (I think I used 6 words of English) using affirmative/negative sentences in the past and present tenses, and a small bit of future tense, which he'll teach me later. This is all because of his skill in guiding conversation, his encouraging attitude, and his systematic teaching methodology. Bir gun inşallah mən yaxşı Azericə danışacam!

Behnam is great teacher. He explains language complexities in an easy way. He uses a good and effective teaching method which speeds up your learning process. By the help of Behnam i improved my grammar skills in Azeri/Azerbaijani.

I think this is the best teacher I've ever had on italki. Very organized, fun, and effective (I can actually see my Turkish and Azerbaijani improving). Mehri is also very helpful when it comes to correct pronunciation and grammar, as well as speaking practice. I believe she's a great and effective teacher for any level, so I really recommend learning Azerbaijani or Turkish language with her. Я думаю это самый лучший преподаватель который у меня когда либо был на italki. Очень организованно, весело, и эффективно (я действительно могу видеть что мой турецкий и азербайджанский улучшаются). Мехри отлично помогает с правильным произношением и грамматикой, а также с разговорной практикой. Я думаю она прекрасный и эффективный учитель для любого уровня, так что я действительно рекомендую учить азербайджанский или турецкий с ней.

Gülnare is the best teacher. She makes every lesson so interesting and enjoyable. I cannot believe how far I have come with her. When I first started I was very shy and couldn't speak much. Now I talk for an hour and only after realise that we have been speaking about complex topics.

Gunay is the best!!! Her technique in teaching Azeri is very good and she teaches how to pronounce the words and every time there is a new vocabulary she writes it down in text so I know how its written. Shes also very kind, happy, and a awesome teacher! Tessekuler Gunay!

I've had more than half a dozen sessions with Arvid now and each one is as good as the one before. I have read his reviews and have noticed that a lot of students comment on his patience. He is that ... but so much more. He is kind, funny, smart, a good listener, and completely dedicated to teaching you a language. You can look around for other instructors if you want, but I can assure you ... it will be difficult to find one this good, especially at the prices he charges. If you're on the fence, go for it and try him out. You'll see what I mean. If you're already a student, then you know what I mean and I encourage you to stick with him. I have no doubt that a month from now or two or three or who knows how many, my German will be much better than it would have been without him.

Wow, just had my first class of the Azerbaijani language! It's my first time when I try learning a non-European language and I'm very excited about giving it a try and starting with Azerbaijani. Many thanks for Tahmina's patience and careful explanation! I appreciate it a lot that a handout of the class is provided in the end - it helps once again to systematize and revise the new challenging material.

I must say, it was a very interesting session with Rosa :-D I have been learning Azerbaijani that is spoken in Azerbaijan and it was very different trying to speak with Rosa as she is from northern Iran. I did learn about a lot of differences between the 2 dialects during our session. Thank you, Rosa :)
