Best language teacher around. If you are wanting to learn Burmese or on the fence to start learning, then book a lesson and you wont regret it. Kaythi matches the lessons to my pace of learning, is helpful and open to any questions and makes the lessons engaging. I have done around 30 lessons so far and learnt a lot. Every lesson has been great 👍🏻

Teacher Papa explains things well, she gives examples, asks questions to get me thinking and provides encouragement. I like learning from her because her classes are well organized and during the class she uses Google word doc and types vocabulary, sentences, spelling, etc as we go. This helps me to understand how the words are spelled and pronounced. She’s warm and friendly but also her role as Teacher is well defined. Our lessons are never dull and always engaging. I always look forward to class with PaPa!

She's an excellent teacher. Despite my great difficulty in pronouncing the tones in Burmese, she was very understanding and patient. She gave me many tips to improve my pronunciation. Great lesson with Nora! We learned about the numbers, some common verbs and some common foods. Nora did a nice job of explaining how to make questions, sentences and negate verbs!

It had been three years since my last lesson, and I had forgotten most of what I’d learned. We picked back up with the same material and moved at a comfortable pace that allowed me to refamiliarize myself with the material. i was so nervous for my very first italki lesson. And despite me having technical problems AND changing from the italki classroom to Skype at the last second due to my ignorance with needing a webcam for it AND the black out that happened the first time i booked him and missed it, Kyaw was super cool about everything. i even had a custom topic lesson plan that was sensitive and he pulled through. i'm very grateful!
