Every student is different but I always try my best to create a welcoming and relaxed atmosphere in my lessons. My approach to teaching is highly affirmative. This means that I won’t just help you learn Danish, I will also help you build your confidence. So that you can use what you have learned independently, confidently, and creatively with other native speakers. Even though I am a native speaker, I am aware of the fact that the Danish language and especially its pronunciation provides many challenges for language learners and mastering Danish won't happen overnight. But I will help you get there, however long it takes, and together we can make it fun!

Throughout my career, I have taught colleagues and customers in various settings and in multiple languages and I just really enjoy the process of helping people explore new things and gaining confidence in using them.

I can help you with your Danish language, your presentation skills, articles, and proofreading. I can also provide you insight about Danish culture, literature, history, and philosophy. Since, I have a technical background as an engineer I will also be able to help you with technical presentations and translations. We can talk about anything from horse riding to quantum mechanics. I am very open to discuss ANY topic of your interest. During my spare time I like to go horse riding or play golf.

I have spent the last couple of years helping expats and students understand the Danish language and culture. I focus a lot on pronunciation, because you can get very far in Danish with basic frases, as long as your pronunciation is good. I do not believe in repeating long lists of random vocabulary. Rather, I believe it is important to focus on getting the tools, you need, to quickly start interacting with people. That could be asking questions, learning how to get people to not change to English, growing vocabulary in conversations and so on.
