Comprehensive English grammar lessons

Ben speaks remarkably clear and refined English, making him very easy to follow. He has a wonderful personality, he is incredibly kind, patient, and truly cares about his students’ progress. He also speaks fluent natural Japanese with a beautiful very clear accent. With his deep understanding of Japanese culture, he intuitively understands where Japanese learners might struggle and makes it easy to ask any questions in Japanese whenever needed. He has my highest recommendation!

I had my 377th lesson with Ed today, and it’s incredible how consistently high the quality of his teaching remains. He’s always looking for new, effective ways to make our lessons even better. His support goes beyond the lessons themselves—he also prepares review materials and tools to help me practise between sessions. I really appreciate the care and effort he puts into my learning. James is an excellent teacher and a wonderful person. During our first lesson, he asked about my goals and suggested a plan. In our lessons, we work a lot on preparing for business interviews and learning how to talk about my work experience and projects. One of my main problems is nervousness. It is very difficult for me to answer unexpected questions. I start mixing up tenses and using the same words again and again. James helps me deal with my nervousness in a calm and friendly way. He also helps me sound more confident in English. It was especially important for me that he corrected my mistakes and pronunciation instead of only saying, “You’re doing great.” This really helps me improve and grow. I also really like the friendly and comfortable atmosphere during the lessons. We can laugh about some things, and this helps me stay involved and enjoy the learning process.

Adam is turning into my English coach more than my English teacher. His new method aims to teach you a new way of learning a language. The ultimate goal of his classes is for you to become an independent student. He wants you to learn how to learn by yourself. The key point is to understand how the process of learning a language works and take advantage of it. Not only do his classes have plenty of content, but he also shows you a refreshing way of making notes, reviewing them, and making connections to transform all your passive English into active English. I've started using power tools like Anki, Obsidian, Youglish, Readlang and English-Corpora, a whole set of resources to take my English to the next level.

My 8-year-old daughter Anna had her first introductory lesson with Tom, and it was brilliant. Tom was very patient, friendly and funny, which helped Anna feel comfortable right away. The lesson was engaging, and the material was well structured and perfectly suited to her level. I was also particularly impressed by Tom’s pronunciation. In my opinion, he has a very clear and easy-to-understand pronunciation, which is especially valuable for children who are learning English.

She is the English teacher I was looking for. Brends is attentive and corrects all the mistakes I make during class. She tailors each lesson to my needs and my professional development. Brends also has so many funny and incredible anecdotes to share, you can never get bored with her. I strongly recommend her!

I have been taking weekly classes with Ariadne for more than a year now, sometimes choosing Structured Speaking Practice and sometimes Free Conversation, and I always really enjoy our lessons. She creates such a pleasant and relaxed atmosphere, while at the same time giving really helpful corrections and suggestions. I especially appreciate the detailed written feedback after each lesson, which is extremely useful. Our Free Conversation lessons always feel very natural, and we discuss a wide range of interesting and varied topics. This has not only helped me expand my vocabulary, but also improved my fluency and, most importantly, my confidence when speaking English. The Structured Speaking Practice lessons are just as enjoyable and effective. Each session is thoughtfully structured—balancing speaking, listening, reading, and vocabulary practice in a perfect way. Ariadne is professional, punctual, always well-prepared, and I can recommend her without any hesitation.

After less than 20 days of learning with her, combined with my own practice, I can now speak continuously for 2-3 minutes on a given topic. I really enjoy learning with Grace. She has a great ability to explain complicated grammar concepts clearly, including points that can be difficult even for native speakers to explain. I know this is not easy, and I truly appreciate her patience and teaching skills. Her explanations always help me understand not only the rules, but also the logic behind the language.
