I am a life-long learner and always looking for the next adventure on the horizon! I have a B.A (Hons.) in English Studies, a Foundation degree in hair and makeup for fashion, (both from leading universities in the U.K), a 120-Hour TEFL certification and a Cambridge English certificate in teaching IELTS. Through my love of travel and education I have lived in diverse places such as Australia, Japan Saudi Arabia, and now Italy. I want you to have fun and not be scared to make mistakes! I will always provide lots of opportunities for you to speak and express yourself, plus detailed notes you can review after the lesson. I have taught non-native students for 10 years, so I understand how to support you through fun activities to build your confidence and independence. I believe that if we can laugh together and reduce any fear of making mistakes, then we can learn more! Some examples of lessons we could have together include: - Natural conversation (any topic) - Vocab (how to use more variety) - Commonly used idioms/slang and meanings - Pronunciation (so you can sound more natural) - Role plays of common situations (travel, socialising, telephone calls etc.) The key is to have fun and to communicate... I look forward to meeting you in our lesson together soon! SUMMER VACATION: AUGUST 1 - 16

Hi. I'm a friendly Bulgarian girl, who's lived the second half of her life in The Netherlands and then, 8 years ago moved to the UK. I speak all 3 languages fluently - Bulgarian, Dutch and English and would love to help you learn to speak either one of them better as well. I'm very passionate about languages, cultures, people, art in all its shapes & forms and everything that expresses what it means to be human! I'm an international person, who's travelled around and made loads of friends from all around the world. All of humanity is like one big family and we've got so much more in common than we think, we just need to communicate better. And this is where languages come in! I find learning languages fun and if you share any of my passions, we can make the learning process equally enjoyable for both of us. Just like how eyes are a window to the soul; language is a window to the soul of a nation. Through it you can understand a country's people and through understanding them you get a grasp of their language too. :) I'm very patient and will listen to your needs & adjust myself to your speed and level. I adjust my teaching style to every individual. We can talk, read, watch or listen to anything you like. Learning a language is like building in a relationship - you gradually get to know the language as your bond grows. With ups and downs, the more time you spend together (speaking and practising), the more comfortable you become. That's the experience I want to give you.

After reading English and Journalism at University I decided to teach as a way of discovering the world. It became my lifetime career. Most teachers have little understanding of their students' cultures, languages, and needs and tend to teach all in a standard method. I know a Chinese or Korean student has vastly different goals to a Peruvian student so I tailor make my courses to focus on the end goal. I am a teacher, but that does not mean business success and rewards are unimportant. I have run successful businesses in Europe and the Far East working for world-famous multi-national companies specializing in Marketing, Career Development, HR, CRM, and E.commerce.
