Johanna was really great, and I'm very excited to be on this journey with her. She really made me feel at ease, which is impressive because I'm naturally quite shy and also a perfectionist -- which makes speaking in a foreign language very difficult. My level is very mixed because my learning path hasn't been straightforward, and I've used many different methods; but Johanna was able to identify a plan that I believe will work well. I feel very confident that I'll be able to improve my speaking while also shoring up basic grammar structures. She exuded calm and is clearly very organised and experienced.

Well, that's my last review here. I got NCLC7 Expression Orale and NCLC9 EE in my FIRST TEF. This is definitely due to following Youcef's lessons with discipline. If I could give anyone a single advice onto how to get this score, it would be: do not go any farther over Italki searching for a teacher. Start your lessons with Youcef today and stick to the plan, trust the process. Have discipline and study with him. Studying with him is having a friend who really cares about your success and knows everything about the french exams; not only a teacher who corrects mistakes. As I scheduled this last lesson, I only had one objective, and I did it: I taught this phrase my wife and we said together : Merci beaucoup, Youcef !!!

She is the best for both the General French and the DELF preparation! As for the General French, over 4 years my learning experience has evolved thanks to her approach to tailor the lessons. I learn French for a professional objective, and my situation has changed: the language level, the responsibilities on the job, and the context of the work. Accordingly, she has constantly adapted materials and methods. That has developed my skill in an organic way. In terms of DELF preparation, she guided me step by step. At the beginning, DELF felt daunting. She began with basics but the guidance did not limit to them: from the grammar to the quality of arguments, from required vocabulary to nuances and precision, from pointing out recurring errors to identifying the areas to develop. By the day of the test, the fear had transformed to confidence. She walked me through the learning journey with a strong engagement and encouragement. That motivated me and consolidated my French. Really happy with my lessons with Amma so far! Still prepping for the TCF, but every lesson is focused and practical — lots of exam-style practice, clear explanations, and genuinely helpful feedback. What I appreciate most is how patient and clear she is, stuff I used to struggle with actually makes sense now. Already feel a lot more confident in my French. I have been taking lessons with Manu for about 2 months now, and he's the best. I really appreciate the attention he puts into crafting a course to tailor my needs, and he's excellent at finding areas you can improve at and working on them together. The course I take with him is a great mix of conversation and discussion, while also taking time to cover grammatical points or pronunciation when needed. In the two months we've been working together I feel like my conversational abilities have seen a real improvement, and I'm looking forward to continuing taking lessons with him.

Professeure Gilee is an excellent teacher. In fact, out of the 3 or 4 teacher's I've had on iTalki, she is the one who has provided the most structure to our lessons and provides goals to attain and works towards those goals consistently. Rather than just speaking with someone, which is important, she has provided opportunities for role playing that forces me to structure my conversations differently and develop new ways of speaking rather than relying on more basic forms. She is helping me to enrich my vocabulary and my communication style!

Sabine Lea is the best french teacher I have ever met, she makes everything so easy to understand that you want to learn more and more.With her tools she makes every lesson fun and something to look forward in your day.She has a very warm and welcoming personality that you feel like you are talking to your friend and not your teacher.She always has a clear plan and lots of interesting activities to do in our lessons.Also she adapts our lessons to my needs and wants.We mix different parts of french throughout our lessons like having a french conservation adapted to my level about my day and habits at the beginning of each lesson sometimes followed by reading a passage about the things that i am interested in and so much more different stuff.Even when i am tired she adapts the intensity of the course that i never get overwhelmed whilst learning french.She is a great teacher and i can assure you that you will learn french super easily.

Taking a class with Taka is like taking a class with my friend. Although he always has lessons ready to teach me, many times we end up discussing a variety of other topics because I love asking questions. Me being a curious person is not a problem for Taka because he is patient and always ready with answers. He gives examples and uses photos to help explain and make sure I understand. Best of all, Taka speaks at a pace that I can comprehend. He is able to speed up the pace or slow down if I give a questioning look. I always look forward to my classes with Taka. Thank you.
