The best Nigerian Pidgin tutor for you

Paul does a great job of explaining the foundational rules of pidgin, and how it would differ to learning a traditional language such as Yorubá or French. He then provides a foundation for vocabulary and will practise conversation scenarios with you. He is also willing to adapt the lesson entirely to your requirements, e.g. I am traveling to Lagos soon so we had a lesson on social etiquette in airports. He also does a great job explaining aspects of Nigerian culture. Thanks Paul!

Nelson gave me a diverse amount of literature in pidgin to analyze and discuss. I feel more confident in my ability to read/write and speak pidgin. I look forward to our next lesson.

Learning Nigerian Pidgin

Had a great class. She gave a brief history on the origin of pidgin english as well as introducing the process of forming sentences. She described the similarities and variations of pidgin as pertaining to tribes. I enjoyed the class. There were some technical issues but those would be attributed to italki. Not my teacher.

Lessons with Adeyemi are always a blast. I'm grateful for the breadth of knowledge he possesses and is willing to share - I am practicing Pidgin while also learning so much about Nigerian culture! I will definitely be back 😁
