In my 2 years of teaching in two different countries, I have worked with learners of all ages—from young children to seniors—and from a wide range of racial and ethnic backgrounds. My experience includes teaching English as a foreign language at the Cambridge Academy in Naples, and Italian as a second language to members of the US Navy, also in Naples. Currently, I teach English in public school classrooms here in Italy, where I continue to adapt my methods to meet the diverse needs of my students.

Throughout my experience as an online language tutor, I understood, that empathy is one of the most important skills that a tutor is in need for, to become a good one. I think to be a very patient teacher, I try to create the best empathy with my students to learn a new language in a very relaxed way. I already taught english for beginners in a city course some years ago and I realized that I had no problems explaining and maybe repeating things to my students, I was very happy to see them learning step by step, fullfilling their language expectations, that was a very great result!

I will be both serious and humorous, depending on the topics we will tackle. I consider lightness a positive value, both to help in setting up a nice relationship and to promote easy learning. At first, we would need to get to know each other. I let "students" know me a bit more, then I would mainly let them choose the content and guide the conversation, for I think the best way to become fluent in speaking a language is to dismiss the fear to make mistakes and launch oneself into the practice.
