Certified language teacher with over 10 years of teaching experiences I think the most important quality as a teacher is the ability to encourage learners. Learning a language is not always easy and there are ups and downs. And it requires quite a bit of efforts and dedication. I believe that a good teacher makes learning more pleasant even when learners bump into obstacles, and makes them feel comfortable and relaxed so that they can speak without feeling nervous. So I try to be a good listener. I also try to make each class fun and helpful with enough preparation. One more thing: I teach mainly late teens~adults. I'm just better with grown-up learners :)

What I felt as teaching Korean here is that I have to understand Korean language with a learning perspective of Foreigners. I realize that it will be able to be extremely hard for the foreigners to understand Korean even small differences of the same meaning that Koreans don’t care deeply. Therefore, I will study Korean more and try to teach Korean easier and more effectively for my students.
