Phraseological units ( part 2)

To take oneself in one's hands.
To rouse oneself to renewed activity; to make a determined effort, to regain one's normal mental state, to regain one's self-control.

To see through someone.
To know someone well; to be well aware of someone's thoughts and intentions.
