OET Phrases and Vocabulary

Recurrent = 'I have a recurring headache'.

Inflamed = 
 'My eye is red and swollen.'

Acute =
  'The fainting attacks were acute.'

Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing.

Dyspnoeic = 
'She looks dyspnoeic and cannot breathe easily.'

Something that irritates and you want to scratch.

A pain that is not sharp but is uncomfortable.

Stable =  
'Your son is in a stable condition'.

A lifestyle that does not have much exercise.

Sedentary = 
'He does a desk job which is sedentary.'

The opposite of strong, where you cannot move or do things with energy.
